A distinctive Diptera blowfly of the family Calliphoridae. Shows bright yellow head and green thorax. Photographed in the Bowral area, Southern Highlands, NSW. Distribution of this insect has been recorded along the eastern seaboard of Australia from Queensland to southern NSW.
